Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) To be eligible for admission under the IU-PAL Scholarship Programme, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications: For First Cycle (Bachelor’s) Degree Programmes (L): - Completion of Secondary Education: Applicants must hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification that allows access to university-level studies in Italy; For Second Cycle (Master’s) Degree Programmes (LM): - Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (First Level University Degree): Applicants must hold a university degree that is valid for admission to a Master’s degree in Italy. - Applicants must also meet any specific academic prerequisites defined by the selected programme (e.g., relevant coursework or disciplinary background). English language proficiency at B2 level (CEFR) is required. A language certificate is preferred, but in its absence, proficiency will be assessed during the selection interview. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Italian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. |

Overview
The IU-PAL (Italian University for Palestine) initiative, coordinated by the University of Milano-Bicocca in collaboration with CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors), offers up to 4 scholarships to Palestinian students residing in the Palestinian Territories who wish to pursue undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or graduate (Master’s) degree programmes in Italy.
Objectives
The programme aims to promote access to higher education for Palestinian students by supporting their full academic journey at the University of Milano-Bicocca.

Candidates may apply for one programme only.
Scholarship Benefits
Each selected student will receive:
Annual scholarship of €4,132 (gross)
Free accommodation in university residences (shared room)
One free meal per day (lunch, 6 days/week)
Tuition fee exemption

Free Italian language courses
Psychological support and tutoring
Assistance with residence permit and access to services
Support for social and academic inclusion
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Hold Palestinian nationality and reside in the Palestinian Territories – this condition will be verified by the Italian Consulate of reference
Possess a valid qualification for enrolment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Italy;
Not have been previously enrolled at the University of Milano-Bicocca or its partners;
Demonstrate English proficiency (minimum B2 level CEFR)
