Overview
This bachelor’s program, jointly organized with the University of Pavia, focuses on the application of physics to technical and practical solutions of societal importance.
The overarching goal is to create a pipeline of talented, well-trained professionals who can meet the present and future technological challenges emerging in Industry 5.0 and leading research sectors. This new curriculum distinguishes itself because it aims to empower a whole new generation of physicists with key technologies that can enable a sustainable development. Specifically, students will learn solutions for fostering a green-energy transition, mastering the second quantum revolution and steering digital innovation. Besides foundational and theoretical aspects acquired also in traditional physics courses, the students will specifically develop hands-on skills, like data analysis and laboratory experience in a digital and transnational environment. The program’s coursework is student-centered and addresses the limitations of traditional teaching methods. It will be delivered in English, offering high accessibility and flexible learning possibilities. A blend of online and on-campus activities will be complemented by support services such as virtual study groups, online forums and personalized instructor feedback.
The approval process for the programme is not yet complete. The program will be activated in the academic year 2025-2026 provided that the procedure concludes positively. All information reported on this website should be considered provisional and subject to approval by the competent authorities.
