Indicatively, the exams are divided as follows: seven in the first year and five in the second.

The course is open to anyone.
Access is subject to checks that candidates are in possession of curricular requirements and an interview to assess personal preparation.

Some teaching areas of the course are delivered in English.

The course offers students two double Master’s Degree programmes. More specifically:

The University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Belgrano (Argentina) have launched a joint study programme which enables students to achieve a joint qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics for Tourism and Master’s Degree in the Hotel Industry.
The University of Milano-Bicocca and the Russian International Academy for Tourism (RIAT) in Moscow have launched a joint study programme which enables students to achieve a joint qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics for Tourism and Master’s Degree in the Tourism Management.
At the end of the course, the qualification of Master’s Degree in Economics for Tourism is issued.

This qualification enables access to second-level postgraduate programmes, PhDs and Specialisation Schools.
The degree course intends to provide students with solid cultural and methodological preparation in business economics, political economy, legal matters and quantitative matters. This will equip graduates with advanced skills and enable them to work in the tourism economics sector, both in the public sector (tourism offices, chambers of commerce, regional tourism bodies, study centres etc.) and in the private sector (tour operators, travel agencies, hotel chains etc. or on a freelance basis).
