Entry requirements and application documents

All the basic information you need to start to collect the application documents

Basic entry requirement for a Bachelor Degree or a Single-Cycle Master degree is a high school diploma awarded after at least 12 years of schooling and that allows you to enrol in an university programme within the foreign education system in question. Some international qualifications may have additional requirements.

Basic entry requirement for a Master Degree is a first-cycle university degree (level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework — EQF), obtained from a higher education institution and allowing students to enrol in a degree programme of the following cycle (level 7 of the EQF).

If you are applying for a Bachelor Degree you will need to upload the following documents:
1. Upper secondary school certificate If you have yet to obtain your final qualification, an enrolment or provisional certificate is also accepted. If your high school has been awarded in less than 12 years if schooling you will also need to provide:
a. Certificate proving the completion of 1 or 2 years of academic studies, OR a post-secondary qualification, OR a foundation course qualification (ONLY if you apply for a Bachelor’s degree programme and you do not have a minimum 12-year school record);
2. Certificate of entrance examination to access university, if required by law in the country where you have been awarded your upper secondary school certificate (e.g. Vestibular or Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio in Brazil, Gao Kao in China, Kankour in Afghanistan);
3. Valid ID card (ONLY for EU or EU-equated applicants) or passport;
4. Italian residence permit (ONLY for non-EU applicants residing in Italy);
5. English Language certificate or other language certifications if required, please check on the call of application
6. Any other document required on the call of application of the programme

If you are applying for a Master Degree you will need to submit:
1. Curriculum Vitae (Résumé) in English;
2. Motivational Letter(s) in English;
3. Transcript of records
4. Academic qualification- If you have yet to obtain your final qualification, an enrolment or provisional certificate is also accepted.
5. Valid ID card (ONLY for EU or EU-equated applicants) or passport;
6. Italian residence permit (ONLY for non-EU applicants already residing in Italy);
7. English Language certificate or other language certifications if required, please check on the call of application
8. Any other document required on the call of application of the programme

Our credentials evaluators may ask you to produce further documentation in order to evaluate your qualification. The production of false documentation will be reported to the head of the educational sector for the adoption of appropriate measures.
